講 義 コ ー ド 11B9120901 授業形態 講義科 目 名 Public Speaking １履修前提条件The purpose of this course is to develop public speaking and effective communication skills in a step-by-step process. Effective gestures, eye contact, voice inflection, and the use of visual materials will be emphasized to strengthen necessary public speaking skills. Students will be encouraged to communicate in English with their teacher and classmates.Students will strengthen their basic English skills and improve their public speaking abilities, which will give them confi-dence in a variety of situations such as giving speeches, making presentations, and taking interviews. The active learn-ing teaching methods will also help raise the students’ confidence when interacting in English.Students will be required to complete additional listening, reading, and writing homework outside of class.
