The class will be conducted in English.The goal of this course is to have a basic knowledge of World Heritage sites in Japan. Students should be able to create guidebooks in English about one of Japan’s World Heritage sites. Students should make presentations about their buide-books. Also, students should be able to debate in English on controversial issues related to World Heritage sites.Students will be required to read the textbook in advance and check unknown words. Students will be also required to prepare for guidebooks and debates. Also, students should be able to debate in English on controversial issues related to the UNESCO programs.Students are required to read the textbook in advance and check unknown words. Students are expected to prepare for their presentation and debate.
