In this course, students will continue to practice general writing skills needed for academic work and everyday life. Writ-ing assignments will be grouped around relevant themes. Also discussed will be critical thinking and creativity as compo-nents of good writing.The goals of this class are to strengthen English writing skills for academic and professional life. Ultimately students should be able to generate topics, write cohesive paragraphs, and organize them into clear, logical expository composi-tions.Any work not completed in class will be assigned as homework.
