Students are encouraged to actively participate in the class.オフィスアワーStudents can ask questions before and after the class.アクティブ・ラーニングの内容Active learning includes reaction papers, presentation, group work and debate.その他In case we need to switch to online, each student needs to print documents uploaded on the university’s portal site. 担 当 教 員 開 講 期 The purpose of this course is for students to deepen understanding of nature, culture and history of Japan by studying the country’s World Heritage sites as well as UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage and Memory of the World. The class will be conducted in English.The goal of this course is to have a basic knowledge of World Heritage sites in Japan. Students should be able to create buidebooks and make presentations on places they recommend as new World Heritage sites. Also, students should be able to debate in English on controversial issues related to the UNESCO programs.Students are required to read the textbook in advance and check unknown words. Students are expected to prepare for presentations and debates.
