Writ-ing assignments will be grouped around relevant themes. Also discussed will be critical thinking and creativity as compo-nents of good writing.The goals of this class are to strengthen English writing skills for academic and professional life. Ultimately students should be able to generate topics, write cohesive paragraphs, and organize them into clear, logical expository composi-tions.Students should be able to complete assignments within the allotted class time.
